Concealed carry class info page

The NC Concealed Carry class is available to any resident of North Carolina who wants to obtain their Concealed Carry Permit. You can take the class anywhere in the state no matter what your home county is.

The NC CCH class is 8 hours which covers topics such as firearms safety, marksmanship fundamentals, cleaning, methods of carrying, and there is at least 2 hours devoted to the legal aspects of using deadly force to defend yourself or others.

Students must qualify with a handgun on a course of fire which consists of 30 rounds. 10 rounds are fired from the 3 yard line, the 5 yard line and the 7 yard line. A passing score is 21 of these 30 rounds impacting anywhere on the silhouette target. Don't worry, it's easy. 

 A large portion of class time is devoted to how to safely handle a handgun. We cover topics such as pointing the muzzle in a safe direction, finger off the trigger and treating all guns as if they are loaded. 

Our main instructor has 25 years of Law Enforcement experience and has been a state certified firearms instructor for 17 years. He has trained hundreds of law enforcement officers and civilians how to properly handle handguns. We use assistant instructors who are also Law Enforcement professionals. 

We really pride ourselves on making sure the class time is fun and entertaining while being informative. The two main rules we have is you have to laugh at the jokes and you have to ask questions. We want you to enjoy your time with us and leave the class with as much knowledge as possible.
